The National Capital Pride Run is an all ages, all-level event with a 2.5 km walk or a 5 km run option. Since 2016 the Pride Run has raised over $40,000 for Bruce House. Run, walk or roll with us every August and raise money for people living with HIV in Ottawa.

We’re delighted to tell you all that the National Capital Pride Run raised $9,500 for Bruce House this year! Thanks to our title sponsor Bushtukah, a grant from ParticipACTION, over a dozen silent auction and race bag donors, and your participation and fundraising, this has been a record year for the Pride Run.

You can see all our silent auction sponsors and funders on our sponsors page. Thanks also to Hello Dolly, who provided individually decorated cookies for our five prize winners this year. Just like last year, our race clock and support was provided by our friends at the Slater Street Running Room, and our emcee was the wonderful Black Swan Events.

With gratitude to everyone who made this year’s run such a success,

The National Capital Pride Run Committee
